ESIC, IESE, IE and ESADE, among the best international schools according to Poets and Quants

Madrid

The American magazine Poets and quants has published the tenth edition of the “Top International MBA Programs of 2019-2020” ranking, in which 78 business schools from all over the world have been positioned, excluding American schools, which have their own independent classification.

IESE, ESADE, IE, ESIC, EAE and EADA are the Spanish schools positioned in the list of international schools according to their full-time MBA programs.

The ranking is led, for the fifth consecutive year, by the French school INSEAD, followed by London Business School, IESE Business School, HEC Paris and IMD.

The list is based on the Bloomberg Business Week, The Economist, Financial Times and Forbes rankings. Poets and Quants argues that by combining these classifications using a system that takes into account the strengths and defects of each listing, it could be said that it is the most authoritative classification of MBA programs. The list tends to decrease anomalies and other statistical distortions that often occur in classifications. The system penalizes schools that fail to make all four classifications.

“The recognition in this ranking is the recognition of ESIC's work to value a program like the International MBA (IMBA), whose students develop their career between Spain and China, acquiring knowledge not only about management, but also an international vision with the one that to face the challenges of a globalized environment “, affirmed Antonio Martín Herreros, Dean of the Postgraduate Area of ESIC.
