David López: “The fans were up to the task, we never felt alone”

The Spanish will start this Monday, with the start of training for the new season, and this same Sunday the captain David Lopez, in statements provided by the club as part of the #MiEstrella initiative, of Star, showed his appreciation to the fans for the support provided during the last season in which the promotion was achieved. “All the home games would have been playing with one more and it would have given us a plus. The greetings have made us notice their support. The fans have lived up to it and we have never felt alone. With the coronavirus, it has been necessary to adapt to a new football in the same way that people have had to adapt to working from home. The important thing is that we have made the grade, with that is what I am left with ”, analyzed David López.

The blue and white team managed to return to First and being champion of SecondBut there were also moments of doubt when things seemed to get complicated. “There were bad moments and obstacles that we were overcoming little by little. There have also been good times. The game we won at home against him Almeria and to Majorca at home was decisive ”, he indicated.

On the other hand, in the most personal aspect, David Lopez wanted to emphasize how important his wife is, who puts up with him “in bad times” and fondly remembered his time at the Damm. “I have many memories. It was one of my first experiences, I arrived at youth A, in the Honor Division and the truth is that I keep many friends from my time there. I would say to young people that you have to enjoy yourself. Sport in general serves to disconnect from the day and get away from things that are not so good. To those who want to dedicate themselves professionally, I would say that you have to make an effort and sacrifice. Everything is achieved by something, not by luck or by having a gift ”, he concluded.
