The Spanish cyclist Teresa Fernández-Miranda has been eliminated this Friday in the BMX Freestyle Park during the Pre-Olympic that is being held in Shanghai (China), the penultimate event of the Olympic Qualifier Series on the way to the Games in Paris (France).

In his first round, Fernández-Miranda achieved 44.70 points and provisionally occupied seventeenth place. However, the 47.40 points of her second and last round were not enough to raise her above nineteenth place, among the 23 competitors seeking to get into the final.

The average of the Spanish was set at 46.05 points, while the cut of the 12 finalists was 62.40 achieved by the British Sasha Pardoe. The first three positions went to three Chinese riders: Sibei Sun (87.40), Jiaqi Sun (86.70) and Yawen Deng (85.40).
