Dani Olmo: “We have to continue with this good dynamic”

MADRID, 27 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The forward of the Spanish team Dani Olmo regretted the draw (1-1) against Germany this Sunday in the second day of the World Cup in Qatar 2022, with victory in hand until they lost “a bit of control” at the end, despite which continue in “good dynamics” and with the ticket to the second round very close.

“If they don’t get to score… We played a fairly complete game up to the goal, then we lost control a bit and they had more chances,” he said in statements to TVE, collected by Europa Press.

Olmo, who had the best chance of the first half with a ball to the crossbar, insisted on that lack of control despite taking the lead. “You have to see it. Be more calm with the ball, those losses that we normally don’t have. You have to try to control the game more when we’re winning,” he said.

“Every game is important, if we win we’re in the round of 16. It’s the goal. It couldn’t be but we have to rest and think about Japan. The atmosphere has always been good from the beginning, now it won’t change because of a draw. We have to continue with this good dynamic, the people are with us,” he concluded.
