At the French club headquarters, the following operation was proposed: Messi and Luis Suárez would go together to Paris and PSG would offer Neymar in exchange and an economic compensation. Days after studying this plan, Neymar himself came out confirming his continuity in the French champion.

Ansu Fati

Manchester United considered the signing of the Barcelona striker, as long as his clause was 170 million. The Spanish international was the alternative chosen by the leaders of the English club after failing to sign Jadon Sancho. This maneuver by the Bartomeu board prevented the escape of the new Barça sensation.

Cucurella

The Getafe midfielder was on the agenda for Chelsea and Arsenal. However, the Madrid club declared him non-transferable and the English proposals never got to interest the Getafense board. According to some information from England, Chelsea came to offer 30 million, but eventually ended up paying about 56 million euros to Leicester for Chilwell.

RDT

The Espanyol forward was on the agenda of Tottenham and Sevilla. However, neither of the two operations came to fruition as they did not meet Espanyol's economic claims. Darwin Nunez

Aalmería transferred the Uruguayan striker to Benfica this summer in exchange for 24 million euros. However, the first offer that the Andalusian club had for its scorer was from Wolverhampton. The English club made a proposal of 15 million of euros. In the end, Darwin Núñez ended up signing a five-year contract with Benfica.

However, two Athletic directors vetoed his return to San Mamés due to the way he left the club in 2013, refusing to renew and exhausting his contract to go with the letter of freedom to Juventus.

Carlos Fernandez

However, the player himself decided to reject the Turkish proposal to accept the offer from Hellas Verona.

Diogo Leite

The Porto center-back has been Valencia's first option for months to reinforce the center of the defense. However, the operation could not be carried out as the club che could not be detached from its discards. This situation led to the player being offered on loan to Barcelona in an operation that should end Todibo (on loan) and Rafinha at Porto. The midfielder did not accept the proposal and preferred to go to PSG frustrating the operation. Todibo ended up at Benfica and Diogo Leite stayed at Porto.

Budimir

The former Croatian striker, who at the last minute went to Osasuna, was wanted by Real Sociedad, Celta, Levante and Valladolid. For several weeks the Pucelano club negotiated his signing, but Mallorca asked for six million for his transfer, a figure that was far from the four million and the loan of Waldo offered by Valladolid. The Croatian, who already had an agreement with the Pucelano club, ended up agreeing to go to Pamplona. Levante, for its part, had him as an option if he transferred to Campaign.

Raul Jimenez

The Wolverhampton striker was linked to Madrid during this past transfer market. However, there was never any real interest from the white club. The team he was in negotiations with was Juventus, who had targeted him at the top of his list of reinforcements for the lead. The English club valued its scorer at 100 million, although it would have accepted 80, an amount that Vecchia Signara was willing to reach if it had not lost in the second round of the Champions League. Finally, Juve opted for the loan of Morata in a much cheaper operation. Raúl Jiménez, for his part, ended up extending his contract with Wolves until 2024.
