Club de Campo Villa de Madrid will host the 2022 Field Hockey Final Four

MADRID, 29 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Club de Campo Villa de Madrid will host the Final Four Hockey Madrid 2022 on May 7 and 8, an event that will bring together the four best teams of the Iberdrola League and the MGS Field Hockey League.

The championship model, with a final four format, began in the 2013-2014 season, making this year its eighth edition. Madrid hosts this final for the second time, after having done so in the 2015-2016 season, and this year it also does so as the World Capital of Sport.

The women’s and men’s teams of Club de Campo Villa de Madrid will seek to repeat the titles obtained in the last season in the two categories, when both were winners.

The Delegate Councilor for Sport, Sofía Miranda, was proud to host “this great competition” in the city “as part of the City Council’s commitment to emerging sports”, and encouraged the people of Madrid to attend this event “which will bring together capital to the best field hockey teams and athletes in a tournament that grows in level and expectation every year”.
