Cádiz signs central defender Víctor Chust after his loan from Real Madrid

BARCELONA, 6 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The central defender Víctor Chust joins Cádiz definitively after last season’s loan from Real Madrid, so both teams have reached an agreement this Wednesday for the transfer of the player for four seasons, while the Madrid team keeps a percentage of a future operation.

“Cádiz CF and Real Madrid CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of central defender Víctor Chust. The player signs for four seasons with our club and Real Madrid keeps a percentage of a future operation”, explained the Andalusian club in a statement.

Chust became one of the fixtures in the schemes of his coach, Sergio González, in his first season in the elite of Spanish football. Thus, the player participated in 25 LaLiga games and in four Copa del Rey games. Thus, Cádiz has already incorporated Víctor Chust, Rubén Alcaraz and Awer Mabil for the 2022/23 season.

The center-back said goodbye to Real Madrid in a statement. “When I was 12 years old, I surely made the hardest decision to date: to leave my hometown and my family behind. But time has shown me that it was actually the easiest and most beautiful decision. I say goodbye with a heart full of thanks, a lot of love and above all madridismo,” he said.
