Barça distance itself from Havertz

The name of Kai Havertz (Aachen, 11-6-1999), 81 million valuation according to the specialized website Transfermarkt, made Barça's news stand out on Friday. According to the Sport1 website, the Catalan club was ready to propose an operation to Bayer Leverkusen in which it would include Carles Aleñá, Cucurella and Emerson to make the operation cheaper. Barça club sources made it clear to AS that Havertz is not a priority for Barça today. Of course, Havertz is a player watched by the technical secretariat of the Catalan team, led by Eric Abidal and Ramon Planes, a couple of seasons ago. His talent and his conditions as a footballer are valued, but Barça is looking for other profiles to reinforce his squad at this time.

Barça's priorities are moving in another direction. Lautaro Martínez is the number one goal and, in midfield, the challenge is to incorporate Pjanic or Fabián, although the dream of the Sevillian from Naples is complicated. Pjanic awaits news of the open line of negotiation between Juventus and Barça. The center of the azulgrana field can turn around the next course. Vidal, Rakitic and Arthur are not assured of their continuity and Aleñá, Collado or Riqui Puig may have a gap. More Pjanic, if his arrival is realized, a reciprocal dream of Barça and the player a few years ago.
