ASOBAL will show its zero tolerance for gender violence this weekend

The Plenitude ASOBAL League will join this weekend in the demand for the ‘International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women’ which is celebrated this Saturday with the slogan ‘Let’s stop Gender Violence’ with which it wants to mark “its position of zero tolerance and outright condemnation” of this scourge.

As indicated by ASOBAL in a statement, the main Spanish men’s handball clubs “intend to be part of the solution, aware of their social responsibility as a professional competition before tens of thousands of fans throughout the state.”

For this reason, the association will take its protest message to the eight courts that will host the different matches of the twelfth day of the championship this weekend, with a banner that will display
each team before the initial whistle and the visibility provided by the television U space, which will be dressed in the corporate lilac color, next to the hashtag ‘#UnaLuchaConjunta’ to group all the messages that are generated in the different profiles of the networks social.

This initiative will be staged in the Municipal Palace of Huesca (Bada Huesca-Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto), the Municipal Pavilion of O’Gatañal (Frigoríficos del Morrazo-Bidasoa Irun), the Garganes Pavilion (TM Benidorm-REBI BM Cuenca), the Palau d ‘Esports de Granollers (Fraikin Granollers-Recoletas At.Valladolid), the La Albericia Pavilion (Blendio Sinfín-Bathco Torrelavega), the Municipal Palace of the
Sports of León (ABANCA Ademar León-Barça), the Anaitasuna Pavilion (Helvetia Anaitasuna-BM Logroño La Rioja) and the Guerrer@s Naveros Municipal Pavilion (Viveros Herol BM Nava-Ángel Ximénez Puente Genil).
