Adriana Abenia jokes about Tamara Falcó’s wedding and it backfires: “Apologies to the bride”

The presenter has received a battery of criticism on social networks throughout the weekend. The reason? A joke related to the wedding of Tamara Falcó and Iñigo Onieva that few understood and that has forced the very Adriana Abenia to explain: “Apologies to the bride, nobody told me about the dress code”.

With those words and a photograph in which she appears in a beautiful white dress. This is how the woman from Zaragoza tried to add a touch of humor to her timeline last Saturday, when the Marquise de Griñón said “yes, I want” to Iñigo Onieva after almost two years of relationship, a breakup and a few infidelities. The point is that Abenia was not invited and the image belonged to an awards gala that she had attended a few days before, data that was unknown to many Internet users who criticized her outfit.

Abenia, fed up with receiving insults, wanted to make it clear this Monday that it was just a joke: “Twitter is a social network in which either you speak as if they were fools, or few find out. I DIDN’T GO TO THE WEDDING. THAT I DID NOT DRESS IN WHITE TO COMPETE WITH ANY GIRLFRIEND, it was a photo from the party on Thursday, the Travelers. Shall I chew it for you? It was false news and I was ironic.” Her explanations, however, have not managed to calm the airs of Internet users.
