Adri Butzke: the return of Granada’s goals

Adrián Butzke could not debut with a better star with the Granada first team in the Cup match against CD La Laguna. The Granada striker scored three of the seven goals with which the rojiblancos overcame this tie and got out of trouble. A very special hat-trik for many reasons.

The Granada Club de Futbol documentation service updated several very interesting data that highlights the value of the feat achieved by this player. For 10 years that a Granada player had not scored with Granada. And this was Lucena in 2011 in a match played against Valladolid in Zorrilla and that ended with 2-3.

Granada Coat of Arms / Flag

Another curious mark that Lucena has is that he was the last player from Granada to score a double, this was in 2006 whereas a year before, Manrique got the last hat-trik from a Granada man with this shirt. The Ganada was then in the Third Division. And in that team was Manolo Lucena, who today has the Granada delegate, having risen from Third to First with the same team. A brand that just Bravo and Basti (with Málaga) and Pedro José (with Extremadura) have.

And if we go back further, we find that the last Granada player to score three goals in a Cup match was Martínez in a match against Industrial de Melilla which was played in 1978. Granada cites the website @GCFstats in this data. The result was 7-1. Rafael Martínez, in this case, was not from Granada but from Córdoba. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 56.

Adri Butzke, who was on loan to Haro last season, will continue his growth at Recre Granada, but knowing that he is already on the way to consolidate his career.

Jorge Molina never fails

And we went from the new scorer to the most veteran. Jorge Molina came out in the second half to complete the win with two house-brand goals. It is always there when you need it.

Bryan Zaragoza, another youth squad for the cause

Malaga’s left winger he also received the alternative of Robert Moreno. He is a player who likes to face, overflow and reach the baseline to make good centers. Another who was there is Raúl Torrente, a center-back with carats.

What about Carlos Bacca?

The Colombian is still not that brilliant scorer of yesteryear. Against the Laguneros he scored after collecting the rebound from the post of his penalty shot in what was his first target of the season. Later, little or nothing. Granada need their goals. Or even more. Needs goal.

Luis Milla and Santiago Arias

Luis Milla reappeared After recovering from another injury (what bad luck this man has) and at the end of the break he received a strong tackle that made him fear the worst. Luckily nothing happened. Heliodoro Rodríguez dismissed the former Tenerife player with a standing ovation. For his part Santiago Arias, a player on loan from Atlético de Madrid, tried to pleasery even slammed a cannon into the wood. It should tighten more.
