A tour in Nice will test the protocols of Roland Garros

After confirming at the beginning of this July that it will put on sale 60% of the total capacity of the tournament facilities, Roland Garros It already prepares the safety and hygiene protocols that will be carried out during the event (September 27 to October 11). For this, the French Tennis Federation (FFT) will organize in the next few days a tour of three tournaments around Nice, where all the pertinent security measures will be rehearsed for the Parisian Grand Slam.

The protocols include the mandatory use of mask (except tennis players during matches), social distancing and coronavirus tests for players and their coaching staff every six days. As the portal points out UbiTennis, The FFT acquired two machines with which to carry out massive PCR tests and which will be located in the different facilities of the three tournaments on the tour.

The events of the Nice tour will have a total of 36 tennis players, 24 will make up the men's table and 12 the women's, among which the Gilles Simon, Nicolás Mahut, Pierre Hughes Herbert, Kristina Mladenovic and Alize Cornet participated. If the experiment is successful, Roland Garros will win many integers to get ahead.
