Cal Crutchlow will not participate in the Italian Grand Prix due to injury

MADRID, 21 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The British rider Cal Crutchlow will not participate in the Italian MotoGP Grand Prix next week due to an injury to his right hand, Yamaha announced this Monday, which a few weeks ago announced that the rider from Conventry was going to participate in three Grand Prix like invited.

“Yamaha regrets to announce that Cal Crutchlow will not participate in the Italian GP as a ‘wild card’. The official test rider suffered pain in his right hand this year and underwent a procedure to solve it. However, complications prevent him from being in the Italian GP,” said the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP.

Last April, Yamaha revealed that Crutchlow was going to race the ‘Yamaha M1’ in the Italian, British and San Marino Grands Prix. The team will facilitate the driver’s participation in another Grand Prix different from the previous ones to complete the three scheduled tests.
