A 22-year-old Armenian footballer dies in the fighting in Nagorno Karabakh

An Armenian footballer, who played last season in the Alashkert-2 of the second division of his country, died in fighting in the separatist enclave of Nagorno
Karabakh, as reported this Monday by his club.

The player, Liparit
Dashtoyan, died at the front, scene since late September of bloody fighting between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces, according to the Alashkert-2 it's a statement.

“Dashtoyán has entered the list of heroes who have given their lives for the country. Rest in peace, Soldier,” says the note.

The 22-year-old footballer wore the shirt of the Alashkter-2 between 2014 and 2019.

As reported today by the authorities of Nagorno Karabakh, 223 Armenian soldiers have died in fighting since last September 27.
