Viedma made his debut in the Second Division with Sevilla Atlético at the age of 18 and later went through the Granada subsidiary before joining the Cadista quarry in the last winter market. With Cádiz B he could only play three games before the break, in addition to the 16 he played in Granada.

La Deportiva is entrusted to the Virgen de la Encina

The Ponferradina squad, as well as the coaching staff and the club's board, carried out the traditional floral offering to the Virgen de la Encina on Thursday, patron saint of Bierzo, before starting the league competition.

After the visit to the basilica, the members of the staff went to the nearby convent on Calle del Reloj to visit the cloistered nuns, faithful followers of Deportiva, who conveyed to the players their best wishes for the season that is about to begin.
