Valencia won the last derby at the Ciutat, where Levante commands

The Levante will host Valencia this Friday in the fifteenth edition of the derby of the Valencian city in the First Division in the Ciutat de València, a duel that the visitors won 2-4 last time, but that in the global of the previous confrontations the local group dominates.

In last season's crash, Paco López's team won 2-0 in the twentieth minute thanks to two goals from Roger Martí, the first with a hard shot close to the post and the second with a penalty, although the same Valencian striker scored again before the break at his own goal when trying to clear a corner kick, and the match reached the break with the score of 2 -1.

With that oxygen balloon, Albert Celades' team returned to the most plugged-in pitch and, in just two minutes, a Kevin Gameiro's double put him ahead. With the locals thrown in search of a draw despite playing with one less man due to the expulsion of the young man Eliseo (m.73), Ferran Torres sentenced the crash.

In that match, played on December 7, 2019, they played for the locals Aitor Fernández, Miramón, Coke (Gonzalo, m .77), Eliseo, Clerc, Radoja, Campaña, Bardhi, Rochina (Vukcevic, m.70), Morales (Borja Mayoral, m.70) and Roger Martí.

For the visitors they did Cillesen (Jaume Doménech, m.27), Costa, Gabriel Paulista, Garay, Wass, Coquelin (Diakhaby, m.84), Parejo, Soler, Ferran, Rodrigo and Gameiro (Maxi Gómez, m.79).

That was himthe fourteenth edition of the Valencia derby in First in the Levantine field and the fourth that ended with a visitor victory. The other ten games have been resolved with three draws, two of them consecutive before this last Valencian victory, and with seven local victories.

Levante's last triumph dates back to the 2015-16 season when they won 1-0 with a goal from the Italian forward Giuseppe Rossi in the middle of the second half and that was the fourth victory in a row for the Levantinists.

Where there is absolute balance is in the scorer balance of the matches played with Levante at home, since in the fourteen games held each team has achieved nineteen goals.
