Angel Strapplayer of Atletico Madridanalyzed the game that his team tied against Manchester United in the first leg of the round of 16 Champions League. A game that in his opinion did not deserve to draw. “We are left with a bitter taste because the team made an enormous effort throughout the game and tying it like this with our mistake is a shame,” he told Movistar.

“We knew the kind of team they are with and at the minimum they can hurt you. The coach plans the games to try to win the games. The rival also plays, sometimes things don’t turn out the way they ask us, but today he will be happy because we did a huge effort,” he said.

“I am personally happy to continue growing, helping the team. I think the second leg will be very similar to this one that will be defined in detail,” he concluded by saying.
