The Spanish Paralympic Committee renews its logo

MADRID, 28 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Paralympic flame with the colors of Spain, the emblem of the international Paralympic movement and the name of the institution are the three elements that make up the new logo of the Spanish Paralympic Committee (CPE), which renews its corporate image, reported in a statement. .

The change in the organization’s logo is due to the intention of the International Paralympic Committee (ICC) to provide uniformity to the emblems of all the national Paralympic committees of the nearly 200 countries in the world.

As a significant and representative element of Spain, the CPE has chosen to give continuity to the corporate image displayed around the motto ‘Paralympics’, using the flame of the unofficial logo that the entity also has and with which it deploys all its communicative action, promotion and representation of elite sport for people with disabilities in Spain.

In the case of the new institutional logo, the flame has been used with the same shape, but with the colors of the Spanish flag. Under this flame, come the other two elements that make up the new logo symbol. On the one hand, the name of the institution itself, the Spanish Paralympic Committee, written all in capital letters and with the Hero New Super font.

In the lower part the symbol of the international Paralympic movement is included, which consists of three lines called ‘agitos’ (from the Latin agito, to set in motion), red, blue and green, which are the colors most used in the flags of everyone. The three ‘agitos’ surround a central point, symbolizing movement from all corners of the world and reflecting the Paralympic motto: ‘spirit in motion’.
