The Shareholders' Meeting approves the salary for Ronaldo

The Brazilian will receive a salary from the club for his executive duties “which will be determined by the Board of Directors, in accordance with the budget for each season,” as explained in the statement issued by the club after the celebration of the General Meeting of Shareholders of Real Valladolid. Until now, since September 2018, the president did not charge for his work, but as he said at the press conference at the beginning of the month: “I see the most normal thing that whoever works, gets paid.”

Also, in this meeting the annual accounts were approved, the management report, the audit report and the proposal for the application of the fiscal year between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. The Shareholders' Meeting also proceeded to modify articles 12 and 16 of the company's Bylaws to carry out the meetings and adaptation of the resolutions of the Board of Directors and the General Shareholders' Meeting electronically, if necessary.
