The Naples falls in Moscow and the pass is complicated

Napoli, leaders of Serie A, lost this Thursday 2-1 against Spartak in Moscow in a group C match of the Europa League played under the snow. The Parthenopeans were left without leadership and they complicate the pass. The last game of the group stage, on 9 December against Leicester, will be decisive for the team led by Luciano Spalletti. The Moscow meeting, in advance, will not coincide like this with the tributes in Naples in memory of the first anniversary of the death of Diego Armando Maradona, which is fulfilled this November 25.

The first half had a bad sign for Napoli, injured by a doblete de Aleksandr Sobolev, who scored the first goal for the Muscovites by converting a penalty in the 3rd minute and a header from Victor Moses in the 28th minute.

The maximum penalty thanks to which he advanced was committed by Stanislav Lobotka on Quincy Promes and the referee indicated it after consulting with the VAR. The first half was more even than the score indicated. Zielinski and Elmas were able to score.

The Diego Armando Maradona stadium team tried to react and played good football. The second half was of those of Spalletti (who at the end of the meeting denied the greeting to Rui Vitoria, coach of the Russian team).

The Neapolitans cut the gap in the 64th minute, through Eljif Elmas, through Andrea Petagna. But the partenopeo team could not level the match and suffered a defeat that complicates their pass. Spartak already beat Naples on Italian soil (2-3).

The Spartak is now Group C leader on goal difference, with 7 points, the same as Naples. But this Thursday they face Leicester (which has 6) and Legia Warsaw (which has 5). On the last day, Naples-Leicester and Legia-Spartak.
