The fans ask for a clean

The Real Madrid fans see a major remodeling of the white squad necessary for next season. Last Sunday afternoon, AS.com asked Madrid fans a poll in which they would vote on the continuity of the players in the current squad and some on loan; in total, 27 footballers. More than 143,000 fans have given their vote. The verdict is that six players from the squad that finished the season and three others on loan should not wear the white jersey next season. An overwhelming majority opts for Isco, Marcelo, Mariano and Hazard not to continue and for the club to seek a new destination for Bale and Jovic. They are also not favorable to the return of Ceballos or to the renewal of Ramos and given the possibility that Varane will go free in the summer of 2022, they choose not to follow this.

About nine other players there is an almost unanimously favorable opinion: More than 90% of those surveyed advocate for the continuity of Courtois, Valverde, Militao, Casemiro, Nacho, Kroos, Benzema, Modric and Mendy. Carvajal, Rodrygo and Lunin exceed 80% and Odegaard, Lucas Vázquez and Brahim also obtain a comfortable majority of votes in favor. Vinicius and Odriozola also gather more support than rejection and the continuity of Asensio raises a division of opinions.
