The Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin mountain bike event will be held from February 21 to 26, 2022, in pairs, and will begin in Jaén and end in Córdoba, according to the organizers in a statement.
The first two stages will be in Jaén capital, on February 21 and 22, the third stage will be in Andújar on February 23, in Villafranca de Córdoba on February 24, to end in Córdoba, on February 25 and 26.
The Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin 2022 will have 5 marathon stages and 1 time trial stage, as in recent editions, but not on the first day as it has always been. It will be in stage 4, on the way to Córdoba city and in the town of Villafranca de Córdoba. For the first time this stage will be timed, being the shortest and most explosive of this year, which will serve to gather strength and face the queen stage of Córdoba, the longest and most demanding.
Thus, the competition will consist of four stages in line with a transfer stage on the way to Córdoba, which will be in Andújar, and with another timed stage in Villafranca de Córdoba to reach Córdoba and celebrate the last two stages.
Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin 2022 also returns to the mythical town of Andújar with the descent of Los Caracolillos or Marmolejo. Registration will open next Tuesday, November 16 with 800 places available (400 couples) and with a special price for the first 100 teams that register on the official website, www.andaluciabikerace.com.
