With 100 million euros of termination clause, Ilaix is one of the jewels of the Barça quarry, although the one who has decidedly bet on him has been Ronald Koeman, who has given him the opportunity earlier than expected, so much so that he came to play 18 games last season with the first team (one goal and three assists). That has changed the plans of Barça, which had in mind to extend his contract this summer without the name of Ilaix having already jumped onto the international scene.
