Sekou will miss at least the next three matches

The medical tests carried out on Sekou Gassama have confirmed that there is a muscle tear and that the forward will miss a few games again because of another physical setback. The blue and white striker suffers an injury in the hamstring area of his left leg and although the club has not specified the degree of the injury, it is estimated a period of absence that will be around, at least, three weeks.

The fact that the current one is not the first muscle injury of the season for Sekou advises the utmost caution and his recovery will not be forced. The forward broke in last Saturday’s match against Lugo, in which he had to be substituted just before the break. In the best of cases and assuming that his set-up process is quick, Sekou will miss a minimum of three games, which will be played by the Blue and White team in the next few days (there is a week-long day) against Oviedo at the Tartiere, against Real Sociedad B at La Rosaleda and against Cartagena at homeor. Even so, it does not seem easy that he could be against Tenerife in the November 15 clash in Martiricos, although a priori he would not be ruled out for that appointment. It will be its evolution that sets the deadlines.

Apart from Sekou, who this Tuesday began his recovery work at La Rosaleda, they continue in the Hicham infirmary, which had already been doing work on the lawn and is scheduled to start a new integration process in the day-to-day together this week to his companions, and Luis Muñoz.
