According to reportsa Varietythe complaint does not name the American actor by name, but identifies the defendant as an Academy Award nominee for his role as Clyde in Bonnie and Clydein a clear reference to Beatty.

The woman, who currently lives in Louisiana, alleges that her husband Annette Bening He met her on a movie set, called her several times in 1973, invited her to the hotel where he lived, and took her for a drive. The winner of an Oscar for Redswho is now 86 years old, must have been about 35 when the events allegedly occurred.

As explained in the lawsuit, the defendant “used his position and status as an adult and Hollywood movie star to coerce sexual contact with the plaintiff on multiple occasions.” The plaintiff seeks compensation for psychological, mental and emotional distress. He says that he has had difficulty interacting with people in positions of authority “as a result of the alleged sexual abuse” and “has suffered from trust and control issues”.

In 2017, a woman who calls herself Tina St Clair Hirsch posted a video on YouTube recounting the same events in more detail: “I met Warren Beatty on the set of Parallax View and from 1973, when I was 14 years old, until 1974 we had a relationship in which I believed was special even though it was a crime. She raped me and forced me to have oral sex. It hurt me emotionally. I would like to make a public complaint and tell my story to Anderson Cooper (journalist). By the grace of God, we ask all predators, pedophiles… and all those who are not well to repent and seek advice.”
