MADRID, 14 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish tennis player Roberto Bautista has said goodbye in his debut in the second round of the tournament in Rome, the fifth ATP Masters 1,000 of the season and played on clay, after losing this Sunday against the Italian Marco Cecchinato (6-2, 6-2 ).

The man from Castellón, number 25 in the world and 21st seeded in the Italian tournament, missed the seven break opportunities he had against the transalpine tennis player, surrounded by the Foro Itálico audience.

Cecchinato broke Bautista’s second serve before certifying his victory in the first set with another ‘break’ in the seventh game. The 4-0 with which he started the second round was enough to take the victory in one hour and 16 minutes.
