Rafa Nadal enjoys a dinner (without paying) with his family after his victory encouraged by Felipe VI

Savoring one of his best personal moments, Rafa Nadal defeated De Miñaur on Saturday the 27th at the Mutua Madrid Open, experiencing great sensations to advance to the third round where he will face Cachín.

Supported by a multitude of well-known faces, among whom was King Felipe VI, and also by his family, the best tennis player in our history wanted to meet with his closest friends in one of his restaurants in the capital, Tatel, to celebrate his victory. Nadal was seen accompanied by his wife, Xisca Perelló; his sister, Maribel; and his parents, Ana María Parera and Sebastián Nadal, at night in Madrid. After dinner, very happy for his victory and for that family evening, Rafa showed his sympathy by attending to his fans, signing autographs, rackets and t-shirts while his wife and mother got in a taxi so as not to steal his limelight.

The best Spanish athlete turns 38 in two months

Happy with Nadal’s victory, both his parents and his wife were discreet in front of the cameras when they left the restaurant, but very smiling about the special afternoon they had experienced. Besides, Xisca and Ana María once again demonstrated in front of the cameras the excellent relationship between them. A dinner that reflects the great unity that exists in the Nadal family, but above all the great support that they continue to show him after having gone through a turbulent time due to his injuries. A night that will remain in the memory of all of them and that ended in style in one of the most prestigious restaurants in the capital. Very smiling and somewhat joking with the reporters, Nadal assured us that he is “fine” and announced that he is fully prepared for Monday: “Yes, man, if you don’t leave me without eyes,” referring to the camera lights.
