How do you face the game after seeing Madrid’s display in London?
We think a lot about ourselves, which is what will defend us at the Santiago Bernabéu. How prepared we arrive and the reading of the game. We respected Real Madrid a lot before the Champions League game. They compete by playing better or worse and they are very intimidating. We have to go with the nerve to know that it is a game in which we have nothing to lose and much to gain.
Are there words left to define Benzema?
We did not discover anything new. The first time I saw Benzema on the pitch was at the European Championships in Austria and Switzerland in 2008 and he impressed me. How can Benzema be stopped?

The players have extraordinary energy. It seems that they are going to play UEFA. They are positive, they are always happy and they go super happy to every game. You don’t have to encourage them much more than they are. They are super motivated. I imagine that they will be experiencing what we have felt whenever we have jumped into that stadium, which is a little snake that moves through the stomach and tickles you.
Do you see Madrid capable of winning the League and the Champions League?
I don’t want to have that critical look at the goals of others. I focus on ours.
