Pontevedra wins at home against Unión Adarve (3-2)

Pontevedra added three points to their locker after winning 3-2 against Unión Adarve this Sunday at the Pasarón Municipal Stadium. Pontevedra entered the match with the intention of adding more points to their locker after drawing 2-2 in the last match played against Coruxo. Regarding the visiting team, Unión Adarve had to settle for a one-one draw against Salamanca UDS. With this score, the Pontevedra team is second at the end of the match, while Unión Adarve maintains the leadership of the Second RFEF.

The match started in an unbeatable way for the visiting team, which opened the scoring thanks to Goalkeeper’s goal in the 35th minute, concluding the first period with the result 0-1.

The second half started with a face for Pontevedra, who leveled the game with a goal from Rufo moments after the restart of the game, specifically in the 50th minute. However, Unión Adarve took the lead in the light establishing the 1- 2 thanks to a goal from the penalty spot by Calleja in the 59th minute. But later the local team equalized with a goal from Charles in the 65th minute. Subsequently, the Pontevedra team scored, which managed to come back through a goal from Yelko in the 67th minute, ending the match with a final score of 3- two.

The coaches made all possible changes. On behalf of Pontevedra, Charles, Romay, Javi Rey, Martín Diz and Calvillo jumped from the bench to replace Samu Araújo, Yelko, Rufo, Diego Seoane and Brais Abelenda, while the changes for the visiting team were Albur, Cidoncha, Andrei, Miñambres and Nouaman, who jumped onto the pitch for Portero, Montejo, Mayorga, Cruz and Calleja.

The referee showed a total of twelve cards: four yellow cards to Pontevedra, specifically to Charles, Rubio, Cacharrón and Churre and seven to Unión Adarve (Goalkeeper, Maganto, Montejo, Calleja, Ignacio Tellechea, Gallardo and Nouaman). In addition, there was a red card for Maganto (2 yellow cards) by the visiting team.

Unión Adarve leads the tournament with 53 points, in place for promotion, while Pontevedra was in second place with 50 points after the match.

On the next day of the Second RFEF, Pontevedra will play against Navalcarnero at home, while Unión Adarve will face Compostela at home.
