Pilar Rubio poses, makes cash and buries the rumors of crisis with Ramos: “All this is sexist”

Rumors of crisis surfaced in November when Pilar Rubio did not accompany Sergio Ramos to the Latin Grammy ceremony, which was held for the first time in Seville. After the repercussion generated by his absence, both Ramos and Rubio denied an alleged crisis on social networks, and also before the microphones. However, the storm did not completely calm down and, months later, the presenter exploded.

“What is the greatest pillar of your life?” they ask him in Harper’s Bazaar, to which she replies: “My husband, he is my support and the father of my children. We have a very beautiful family, with a lot of love.” And she adds, upset by the information about her marriage to the Sevilla center back: “But what are these, the forties when we have to be together all day? Does Sergio also have to accompany me to vote or what is the move like? I hallucinate, he is retrograde and sexist“.

Thus, the collaborator of The Anthill insists on denying the incessant rumors of crisis: “And I don't have to justify myself or give explanations about my private life, because I don't make a living from it. If I want to say something, it will be organically, because I feel like it. If not, I don't have to. But the rumors about the separation are a lie, completely and emphatically.“.

And he insists: “There is nothing like that, I think they have seen that this has a pull and they have said, well, let's continue talking about it. Let them say whatever they want, because they insist that we are wrong even though we insist that we are fine. For me it is as if they were talking about another person or another couple, it would affect me if one day they lied that I was an arms dealer. The rest? I do not care”.

Of course, he recognizes: “Do you know what affects me? That these rumors come from my professional colleagues, whom I consider colleagues, and I think they should also consider me as what I am, a colleague.”.

In a full moment

Regarding the moment in which he is, he assures that he is “in the most beautiful place I can find myself, a quiet moment, a moment of peace”.

Regarding his day-to-day life, however, he regrets: “I give up a lot of time with my family, because I spend hours preparing things, studying and filming away from home. I have had to give up sleeping at home many times because I don't live in Madrid and my work is in Madrid. I manage it well, but I would like to be able to sleep every day at home with my family. But I also think that it is necessary as a woman to continue working.” Currently, she works on four programs: Make Up Stars (RTVE Play), Discovering Canary Islands (Rakuten TV), The challenge (Antenna 3) and The Anthill (Antenna 3).

The presenter also explains: “Neither motherhood nor your partner forces you to do anything, I simply need to express myself by working. I have been fighting for this for 28 years and now I am not going to say no. I am not going to quit, the day I quit It's because I'm really convinced that I'm already tired, but for now I'll try to combine it. But you sacrifice a lot, I can't be a mom 24 hours without leaving the house. I can't be in two places at the same time. I'm sorry, how lucky are the women who can, but it's not my case.“.
