Paco López says that Levante has shown that it is strong “emotionally”

Levante coach Paco López highlighted the fact that Levante achieved their first victory in Ipurua and said that his team has competed well and, “emotionally, after what was supposed to be the defeat last Sunday, it once again shows that is strong”.

In addition to not having won until this Saturday, he said that in Ipurua they had done quite “badly” in the aspect of “conceding goals”.

López said the meeting had not been “excellent.” “It has not been – added the Levantine coach – one of our best games. You have to take into account the opponent who barely leaves you, but the team has shown enough confidence today, since it is not easy to neutralize the type of game that Eibar does ”.

Paco López believes that now with salvation “in his pocket”, Levante has many objectives to “meet” and it must be demonstrated in each game. “Give the maximum – he pointed out – and let's see how far we get, within the difficulty that winning a game in the First Division continues to have, enjoy this victory because we came from two consecutive defeats.”

Finally, he defended the work done by José Luis Morales, who has “emptied himself” on the field and has done things “well” despite not having played his most brilliant match.

He ended by dedicating the victory to the former Levante player, Antonio Calpe, who died this week, who he said is “watchword” of the team and expressed his condolences to his family.
