Pacheta dazzles Huesca

José Rojo “Pacheta” arrived in Huesca three months ago with an optimistic message to a team that I was in free fall towards Second Division. The Burgos coach convinced the club members in the dressing room that the miracle was possible and the results have also persuaded the fans. In 11 games he has cut eight points against Eibar, seven against Alavés, four against Valladolid and three against Elche. After thirteen games as a red lantern, last week's victory against Levante brought the Alto Aragonese out of relegation and a win against Elche next Friday would take his team out of relegation 16 games later.

The reaction of the Huesca people is revolutionizing the lower zone of the classification and is raising Pacheta as an idol within Huesca. The coach signed for the Barça club until the end of this season, but his personality and his work are perfectly adapted to the idiosyncrasies of the entity. In the club the winks towards the renewal of the coach have begun and the coach and his coaching staff seem delighted in the Alto Aragonese capital, but the last nine days will mark the future of this relationship.

Pacheta arrived at Huesca from Elche, which did not renew him despite having been promoted to First. Before that, the coach was in Thailand, Poland and in Second B with Real Oviedo, Cartagena and Hercules. At Numancia he managed to direct the Soria team in Primera 13 years ago when he left the sports management to get in front of the team. An experience that marked him and that led him to travel many benches until Huesca gave him the opportunity to enjoy the First Division, at least this season.
