Velasco’s son decides to clarify, mainly, the rumors related to the worsening health of his motherto which he dedicates the following paragraphs:
“That my mother remains stable, within her general delicate state, as I have responded and I respond to all the press media that write to me asking me about this on a regular basis – although it may take a few hours to answer everyone; I apologize for this – She continues in her magnificent residence in Las Rozas, breathing fresh air, accompanied at all times, and with all the attention and care she needs”.
“That there has not been any serious worsening in her health, that there has not been any new hospital admission, although yes, as I have explained before on some occasion, and my cousin Manuela has repeated a few hours ago, she is transferred to the hospital regularly to receive the treatment and constant supervision that his illness requires. I ask for the same privacy and intimacy, when this happens, as until now – I have no complaints about it”.
Having clarified the main issue, which had all of us Spaniards in suspense, Manuel continues reasoning his behavior of the last days with the press. This is explained in the statement:

I have another cell phone, always on, for emergencies (medical, residence and family)”. “That neither my brother Paco nor I have ‘restricted visits to the residence’. They do very well for her, but we always organize them all in order, and in doses, so that she doesn’t get tired.”
