Official: Sarri, Lazio's new coach

Lazio confirmed this Wednesday the signing of Maurizio Sarri, former coach of Napoli, Chelsea or Juventus Turin, as first team coach to replace Simone Inzaghi.

After publishing on their social networks a series of elements that define Sarri's personality, such as a cigarette and the tracksuit that he usually wears, Lazio officially confirmed the incorporation of the Neapolitan coach.

“SS Lazio announces that Maurizio Sarri is the new coach of the first team,” was the brief message posted on the club's website.

Sarri, 62, replaces a Simone Inzaghi who, after five years in office, did not renew his contract and signed for Inter to replace Antonio Conte.

The coach takes the reins of a team that qualified sixth in the last Serie A and that will play the next Europa League.

In his career, Sarri won a league title with Juventus and a Europa League with Chelsea.

With the smiley of a cigarette

This morning, Lazio gave clues to the arrival of Sarri by publishing a message on Twitter in which the emoticon of a cigarette appeared, one of the hallmarks of the Italian coach.
