Messi returns alone

At 15.57 in the afternoon, Leo Messi's Mercedes made its entry into the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper between the expectation of fifty fans and approximately the same number of graphic media that captured the return of the Argentine star to the discipline of Barcelona after a week of rebellion in which Leo announced through a burofax his intention to leave Barcelona.

Thus began the second stage (and perhaps the last) of Leo Messi in Barcelona as a player. The Argentine footballer arrived half an hour before Korman marks the locker room. Since the arrival of the Dutchman, the rule has been established again that all players must be in the changing rooms of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper one hour before the scheduled time for training. The session was scheduled for 5:30 p.m., so the players had to arrive at 4:30 p.m. at the latest. 33 minutes earlier, Messi was already at the Barcelona facilities.

Messi arrived with the negative result of the PCR test that LaLiga demands. The player took the test on Sunday at his home and yesterday morning the club, he and LaLiga received the results. Following the established protocol, the footballer exercised alone and will continue to do so at least for the next few days.

Messi broke his silence last Friday when in an interview with Goal.com he said that he was going to continue one more season at FC Barcelona while charging very hard against the club's board of directors, especially personalizing his attacks in the figure of President Josep Maria Bartomeu, of whom he said that he had broken his word.

Messi could have appeared on Saturday at the club's facilities to pass the mandatory PCR test, but he did not do so without the club giving any explanation about it. On Sunday Koeman had decreed a day off for the Blaugrana squad and that was the day the Argentine underwent the test to be able to join the sessions as normal as LaLiga protocols allow under the supervision of Ronald Koeman.

Next Saturday, September 12, Barcelona plans to test themselves in the first preseason match at the Estadi Johan Cruyff against Nàstic de Tarragona. A game in which Messi is expected to be able to enjoy a few minutes despite the fact that he has not been able to share training sessions with the rest of his teammates on the pitch.
