Besiktas coach confirms negotiations for Kalinic

Besiktas coach Sergen Yalcin appeared at the press conference today and was asked about the possible signing of Nikola Kalinić. Yalcin declared that negotiations continue and that the Croatian is a player he wants to see in his team.

The forward's representative is in Istanbul to negotiate the forward's contract. According to internal sources of Besiktas, Atlético is already convinced to cede the player with a mandatory purchase option of two million. In the first place, the Madrid club had requested 3 million for the purchase option that will be valid at the end of the season. Besiktas for their part offers 1.8 million euros net a year to the Croatian international.

Fenerbahce, who is Besiktas' eternal rival, also met with Kalinić's agent. This club has already reached an agreement with Lazio for the transfer of its forward Vedat Muriqi and is looking for two players to replace him, so they have begun to take an interest in Kalinić.
