Masters 1,000 Miami: Betting for the Sinner-Hurkacz final

Totally unexpected ending at the Miami Masters 1,000. The losses of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer predicted a different tournament, but it is that two players located outside the top 30 have been planted in the final, a complete surprise and a a fact that had not occurred for more than 17 years at the 1,000 Masters in Paris-Bercy.

This time the chosen ones are Jannik Sinner and Hubert Hurkacz. Two different styles that will collide in American cement. The solidity and self-confidence of Sinner with the power to the Serbian of the Polish. The Italian arrives after surviving Roberto Bautista in a match in which he went set down and 3-3 40-0 in the second, as well as a break down in the third. But Sinner, who had never reached these heights in a tournament of such magnitude, recovered and ended up taking one of the most important triumphs of his career.

Hurkacz had it easier, and he was not at all favorite against one of the fittest players of the season like Andrey Rublev. The Pole took the victory in less than an hour and a half by 6-3 and 6-4. And it is not that he had an excellent match on serve. Placed eight direct aces, saved 4 of 5 on break balls and played with a 60% first-game percentage. But it was worth to him to overthrow Rublev and access his first final of a Masters 1,000.

This is why we like more the options of going with Hurkacz in this meeting. We believe that Sinner has a much better future and is a better player, but the market has turned too much with him and it is a fee 1.57, too low for our liking.

Meanwhile, Hurkazc is at quota 2.45. To try to refine something else, we are going to recommend two bets. One is the handicap in favor of the Pole +2.5 a 1.8 and the other the more than 22.5 games to 1.67, trusting that the nerves from winning the first 1,000 Masters of their careers will take its toll on their nerves.
