An emotional farewell, where the Valencian has been unable to contain her tears, but which predicts a new beginning: she will be the new host of Socialiteafter the dismissal of Maria Patino y Nuria Marin.
Next January 6, Verdoy will have his best Christmas gift. The presenter will begin a new stage at the head of Socialite, after the numerous changes that the divorce between Mediaset and La Fábrica de la Tele has brought with it. And the fact is that the breaking of ties between both audiovisual groups caused the closure of the production company and, consequently, the change of producer of the different programs it hosted: Socialite, Traveling with Chester y Everything is a lie. Now, the social chronicle program will be in charge of the production company of Christian GalvezFenix Media Audiovisual, and with María Verdoy as host.
Of course, María is not a profile foreign to the chain. She has been at Mediaset for more than ten years, where she started as a reporter for Cazamariposas in 2013. Subsequently, she worked as an editor at Live life and it happened to stay in the format that happened to it, Fiesta. After five years working for the weekend evening magazine, Verdoy said goodbye live like this: “Today is a very emotional day for me. All day I have been saying goodbye to a wonderful team, to a set that has been my home for five years”.
He even dedicated some nice words to Emma Garcia as a sign of gratitude for everything learned: “The world knows that you are an incredible professional, but I don't know if they know how generous you are. You have given me so much…”.
“From the 6th I will present Socialite which is a program of which I declare myself a fan,” said the journalist with a broken voice to send a message to all the program's followers: “I ask that you give me a chance because I really want to enjoy it”.

For her part, Emma García was also excited and dedicated some nice words to him for this new solo adventure: “I met her a few years ago, in Live life. Goodbyes are a bit sad.
