Mallorca confirms the return of Muriqi and the incorporation of goalkeeper Rajkovic

RCD Mallorca confirmed this Friday two signings for next season, including Kosovar Vedat Muriqi, who will return with a contract until 2027 after his successful loan last season from Lazio, and Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic until 2026.

In the case of striker Muriqi, 28, he returns to the island after playing a total of 17 games last season with the Majorcan shirt. The Kosovar was a fundamental piece in saving the team due to his numbers -5 goals and 3 assists in 16 LaLiga games- and for everything he gave the team. In fact, he started in all the games he played, accumulating a total of 1,529 minutes between the League and the Cup.

“The club has made a very important bet to incorporate the Kosovar striker and link him to the project for the next five seasons. Muriqi is also a player very loved by the Mallorcan fans, with whom he had a special connection as soon as he landed”, he pointed out. RCD Mallorca in its statement.

Also, the vermilion team has made official the incorporation of Predrag Rajkovic, who has played the last three seasons in Ligue1 with Stade Reims, being one of the most outstanding goalkeepers in the competition.


In the top French division he has played a total of 102 games and also has experience in European competitions. He accumulates a total of 46 games between the Champions League and Europa League, both with Stade Reims and, above all, with his previous club, Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel.

He is also a goalkeeper for the senior Serbian team, with whom he has played a total of 28 games, and one of the 32 national teams that are contesting the World Cup in Qatar this year.
