This Friday, the queen enjoyed a great plan at the Círculo de Bellas Artes: the National Final of scientific monologues ‘Solo de Ciencia’, organized by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology. And she has chosen a simple but very elegant party look for the occasion: a smooth black satin dress that she has rescued from her closet and to which she has given a ‘glam’ touch with a jewel bag.
The clutch was the key piece of her outfit and as such she has worn it in front, even in the photographs, when she usually leaves them aside. It is a satin bag with a round finish, printed with two rows of fine diamonds and topped with a circular XXL stone in five pieces. It is from the Italian firm Tod’s and it has been in his dressing room for years, although he uses it on rare occasions.
The dress, a perfect classic cut from the firm & Other Stories silk and halter neck, a basic for summer nights that premiered in August of last year, in Mallorca, during the closing of the 12th edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest 2022. Lady Letizia has combined it with shoes Manolo Blahnik vinyl and earrings Coolook of silver zircons, in addition to his inseparable ring of Coternal.
The purpose of holding this contest is to involve and train researchers in scientific dissemination from the early stages of their professional careers. In addition, it is an exceptional opportunity to value the use of Spanish as a language of scientific communication through an innovative, entertaining and close format with the general public.
