LaLiga selects Marqués del Atrio exclusively as its official wine this season

LaLiga has once again selected the Marqués del Atrio winery as the exclusive official wine for LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank next season, according to a statement issued by the employers this Wednesday.

This will be the sixth year of a sponsorship with a long-term vision that allows a strengthening of the positioning throughout Spain, “enhancing the visibility of a high-quality wine with a Qualified Designation of Origin”.

On the occasion of the agreement, the Rioja winery will bottle a special and limited edition with “a selection of one of the best wines from the winery”. The label will include the 20 shields of the clubs that will play the highest national football competition next season, with an “elegant and distinguished” design that reflects the quality of the wine and evokes “the distinction of commemorating triumphs and the passion of great moments lived”.

The Marketing Director of the Marqués del Atrio winery, Eduardo Peña, commented that this agreement “shows the commitment to quality” sought by both entities. “Our Marqués del Atrio wine is the perfect pairing. Effort, teamwork, passion, innovation or talent are qualities that reinforce our union and guarantee that we are great travel companions,” he said.


For his part, the CEO of LaLiga, Óscar Mayo, assured that this union “demonstrates that together” they are “doing great things”. “For us it is essential to maintain long-term relationships with ‘partners’ with whom we share so many values,” he added.

The agreement between the football association and Bodegas Marqués del Atrio is far-reaching, both in the activation of spaces and different LaLiga media and in the agreement to be present in different organizational activities. In addition, it has links in terms of association rights with LaLiga, in media, digital, data, merchandising, events or in ‘ticketing & hospitality’, among others.
