These four matches were postponed by the FIFA Virus. Infantino allowed CONMEBOL to extend the number of days of concentration and one more game per break. What caused that several South American players arrived with few hours of rest with respect to the party that had to dispute. Given the refusal of the TAS to allow said players not to travel with their national teams, LaLiga decided to postpone the matches of the teams that were most affected. With this programming, it will be possible to finish the first round of the League with all the games played.

The games are recovered at the cost of less vacations for the players of these teams. The last pre-Christmas match will be played on December 19 and they will not return until December 31, since this season there will be a match on New Year’s Eve (three games between geographically close teams). LaLiga and the RFEF reserved three days (December 20, 21 and 22) as an escape route to recover games, as has ended up happening with three of the four games postponed by the FIFA virus. Real Madrid and Athletic on Matchday 9 will be played on December 1 and on December 22, the match on Matchday 21 will be brought forward, which will coincide with Cup and Super Cup matches and will make it impossible for them to play when appropriate.
