José María Muñoz's scalpel: 23 players leave Malaga

José María Muñoz, judicial administrator of Málaga (hereinafter AJ) has applied a radical surgery to refloat the entity, sunk by the poor management of Abdullah Al Thani. AJ has applied the scalpel in the squad, which has changed radically compared to last season with the aim of adjusting the salary limit to the new reality.

Regarding the 2019-20 campaign, no less than 23 players have left Malaga. Four because they finished their contract (Armando Sadiku, Mikel Villanueva, Aarón Ñiguez and Sergio Buenacasa). Four others who left voluntarily (Munir, Cifu, Adrián and Juankar), another four who have been transferred or transferred (Kellyan, Mula, Keidi Bare and Iván Jaime), one who left after paying his termination clause (Tete Morente), one who went to Ponferradina due to an appendix to his contract (Iván Rodríguez), one who went to Maccabi Haifa (José Rodríguez) and eight dismissed in application of the Employment Regulation File (ERE). They are Luis Hernández, Diego González, Juanpi, Boulahroud, Rolón, Renato Santos, Dani Pacheco and Cecchini).

Of these 23 players, two of them had a filial file, they are Kellyan and Iván Jaime. We are going to consider Keidi Bare, transferred to Espanyol, a professional since, due to age, he was no longer a subsidiary. The magnitude of this AJ operation is such that only two professionals remain from last season, the Algerian Benkhemassa and Lombán. Juande will be the third because he will no longer have a record with the second team.

Malaga will only have 18 professional chips. It already has 16. Dani Barrio, Juan Soriano, Iván Calero, Alberto Escassi, Josua Mejías, José Joaquín Matos, Cristian Rodríguez, Orlando Sá, Yanis Rahmani, Caye Quintana, Jozabed, Pablo Chavarría, Jairo Samperio and the aforementioned Juande , Lombán and Benkhemassa.

Luis Muñoz can join this relationship because the club hopes to announce his play-off in the next few hours, already as a professional. For position 18 there are three candidates. Cristo González (Udinese winger) Joaquín Muñoz (Huesca) and Antoñín. In the latter case, Granada will decide their fate. Malaga loves him, but he is not the best placed in the bid.

Jairo's first training

For the rest, Jairo Samperio has joined Málaga's training sessions after having successfully passed the second Covid test 19. Pellicer already has his 13 signings working. Regarding nursing, Hichan and Lombán continue in their recovery processes, while Ismael has worked outside the group.
