Getafe makes the arrival of Mexican Macías official

Getafe made official this Monday the transfer of Mexican Chivas Guadalajara José Juan Macías, who will play for the Madrid team until the end of the season, according to the Azulón club in an official statement.

Macías arrives at Getafe to replace Ángel Rodríguez, who did not renew his contract and signed for Mallorca for the next two seasons. The Chivas Guadalajara forward, an absolute international with his country, was also a member of the León Club and last season he scored twelve goals in all official competitions.

In addition, Macías has international experience after winning the CONCAFAF Champions of the 2017/18 academic year and, together with Jaime Mata, Hugo Duro, Enes Ünal and Darío Poveda, he will, for now, be one of those in charge of scoring goals in Míchel's new Getafe.

After the loan of Vitolo, the arrival of Bulgarian goalkeeper Viktor Nikolov, the purchase of Poveda (on loan from Atlético de Madrid last season) and the return of loan player Hugo Duro, Macías is the fifth novelty of the club chaired by Ángel Torres.

Macías It will be officially presented this Wednesday at 12:00 in the press room of the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
