Getafe donates medical supplies to the City Hospital

Getafe yesterday issued an official statement explaining that it has made a donation of medical supplies to the City Hospital. This is the most urgent material and after having conversations with the management of the Hospital to coordinate it. Masks, leggings, gowns, gloves and leggings have been requested by the center and the club chaired by Ángel Torres has been ready to provide them.

The statement reads as follows:

“Getafe CF makes a significant amount to the Getafe University Hospital in protective sanitary material to help combat COVID 19. The first consignment will arrive throughout tomorrow.

Covering the current more urgent health needs of the Hospital, the Azulona entity has arranged a relevant item to try to help and alleviate these needs.

A value in necessary products such as waterproof gowns, surgical masks, FFP2 masks, leggings, gloves and hats. Those needs have been transmitted by the hospital itself to the Getafense entity.

A help from all of us who form Getafe CF, coaching staff, first team, president and all members of the Azulona family.

From here we send our support, strength and, above all, gratitude to all those who day by day are fighting on the front line against this pandemic that is currently ravaging us. We have to continue fighting against it, so the best way is to continue in our homes in order to make it easier for all the health workers in our country. #Stay at home.”
