Genoa does not fail and condemns Lecce to Series B

Genoa certified their continuity in Serie A after solving without problems their last game against Hellas Verona (3-0). The Genoese team had in their hands the permanence in the elite and ended up condemning the descent to a Lecce who also did not do his homework to maintain the category.

Sanabria's quick double (5 ’, 25’) brought Genoa to a win over a lazy Hellas Verona. Before the break, Davide Nicola's team had already tied the triumph thanks to the third goal signed by Romero (44 ’).

The result, combined with the one that was taking place in Lecce against Parma (0-2 in 24 '), certified the permanence of the Genoese team one more season after a turbulent course with several changes of coach.
