Eibar and Valladolid are going strong due to direct promotion

MADRID, 13 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

SD Eibar beat Alcorcón (2-1) this Saturday on matchday 16 of LaLiga SmartBank to follow in the wake of the leader Almería, while Real Valladolid looks to the direct promotion after their 3-0 win over Fuenlabrada and the UD Las Palmas fell (2-3) against Real Zaragoza.

The gunsmith team signed their sixth straight victory in Ipurua with a resounding start, 2-0 in 20 minutes through Stoichkov and Edu Expósito. The bottom did not throw in the towel and cut through Zarfino. Eibar saw the points in danger, especially because of Marc Gual, but fortune was elusive with Alcorcón.

Thus, the Basque team adds 31 points, for the 34 of the leader, an Almería that plays this Sunday in Ibiza. Meanwhile, Valladolid got 28 after a victory worked against ‘Fuenla’, with goals from Sergio León and already in the last minutes from Cristo and Óscar Plano.

For its part, Las Palmas (27) fell from those positions of direct promotion by giving up its first defeat in Gran Canaria against a handy team that is close to the ‘Top 6’. A double by Álvaro Giménez decided an entertaining match and three gold points for Zaragoza and their pursuit to the promotion zone.
