Dani Alves testifies on Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl in Barcelona

BARCELONA, 13 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The footballer Dani Alves will testify again on Monday before the judge who is investigating him for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on December 30, 2022, legal sources have explained to Europa Press.

Dani Alves has already testified before the instructor and this new statement has been scheduled at the request of his defense once the investigation has advanced, according to Ser Catalunya.

The player has been in provisional prison for this cause since January 20, and both the instructor and the Barcelona Court refused to release him before an appeal by his lawyer, Cristóbal Martell, because they considered that there is “a high risk of escape” and indications enough to keep him in prison until trial.
