Coudet considers it key to adapt to synthetic grass in Ibiza

Eduardo Coudet, coach of the Celta Vigo, pointed out this Monday that one of the keys to the Copa tie against the UD Ibiza it will be in the “speed” with which its players adapt to the synthetic grass turf of the Can Misses municipal stadium.

“We are going to face some difficulties that we are not used to, such as the pitch, but we will try to do it in the best way and be able to win.. It will be different, so we will have to try to adapt quickly to the difficulties that synthetic grass presents, ”he commented at a press conference.

Coudet He regretted that his team barely had time to prepare for the game after playing on Saturday against Real Madrid in Valdebebas, where the spectacular streak of six league games was broken without losing.

“We always prepare to win, it is what we like and what comes to mind every week. We don't like to lose as it happened in Madrid, so now we have to get used to the good results again, ”he said.

The Argentine coach stressed that they face the tie “with the utmost seriousness” despite taking on a Second Division B team and that the “main” objective continues to be in LaLiga Santander.

“Respect for the rival must always exist, but above all respect for the shield that we are representing, that is why we do not evade the responsibility that we have in this tie,” said Coudet, who has left in Vigo, for rest, the defenders Hugo Mallo and Jeison Murillo.
