Cilic And Coric Will Be The Addition To Novak Djokovic’s Balkan Tour

You all must have heard about the world number one player, Novak Djokovic. Fans will be happy to know that the two amazing players from Croatia Marin Cilic and Borna Coric are going to join the Balkan tour with Novak Djokovic. The organizer of the Balkan tour is none other than the popular tennis player Novak Djokovic. His Tennis Tournament will be going to take place across the Balkans from 13 June to 5 July. Serb did report the same on Tuesday.

Marin Cilic and Borna Coric Joins Balkan Tour

It is sure that their inclusion in the tournament will complete a formidable field. The Balkan tour that Novak Djokovic will be organizing will also be featuring Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, and Grigor Dimitrov, with the first of four legs. So everything is all set and ready to take place in Belgrade around the 13th of June or the 14th of June.

The series then will be moving to coastal resort Zadar in Croatia. There 2014 U.S. Open winner Marin Cilic and 23-year-old Borna Coric will be at the center of the stage in front of their hometown fans.

Novak Djokovic says, “I thank Marin and Borna for joining the tour without asking for any financial compensation,”. People consider Djokovic the best player as he did win 17 Grand Slam titles who was in the lead with a score of 18-0. But then it has to stop due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

“I have known both of them for a long time, they are great guys and we are good friends, so I am really looking forward to meeting up with them in Zadar”, Says Djokovic.

He Continues, “Marin is one of the best players ever from this part of the world while Borna has the potential to break into the top five on the men’s ATP Tour.”

All four legs of the tour will be featuring eight players who will be going to compete in two pools of four on a round-robin base. Each winner of each pool will be moving forward to the next level until the final.
